First, the Newsday article, Pandemic spurs Long Island Homeowner to install backyard pools by Denise M. Bonilla, mentions how pool store owners and builders are getting an unprecedented amount of requests from those looking to either buy an above-ground pool or have an in-ground pool constructed in their yard.

Second, the CNN article, Dealerships are opening up again. But good luck finding the car you want” by Peter Valdes-Dapena, goes over how strong online sales and a halt in auto production has led to very low inventory levels for car dealerships.

Third, the article from Fox5 in Las Vegas, Businesses rush to buy plexiglass to reopen, demand creating shortage by Jaclyn Schultz, discusses how manufacturers warn there is about to be a shortage of plastics and plexiglass due to the high demand from doctor's offices, fast food restaurants, and now offices, salons, gas stations and convenience stores.

Fourth, the NY Times article, New York City’s Kettlebell Shortage: ‘People Are Kind of Freaking Out’ by Aaron Randle, mentions how interest in fitness equipment had risen by 500 percent in the United States since March.

And now it’s time for our listing of the week.
